Rudy Giuliani Visit to Reno, Saturday, March 10, Is Strictly a Private Fund Raising Event

After talking to someone connected with the Rudy Giuliani visit to Reno (thanks to Senator Bill Raggio's office for the contact information) this Saturday, March 10, we have been told there will be no press conference. Its strictly a private fund raising event. To win the presidency, the winning candidate is going to have to raise at least $100 million dollars. Its too bad, but money is everything in this campaign.

If you got the bucks, you still can see Mr. Giuliani. For only $1,000 you can attend the reception. For another $2,500 you can get your picture taken with the candidate. Just call 827-1900 for ticket information or go to the Washoe County Republican website page for more information. They want you to RSVP by March 8.

If you don't have $1,000, only forty-five bucks will get you into the Washoe County Democratic Party crab feed in Reno that same night. Doors open at 6:00 for a pre-dinner mixer. There will be a no host bar, which means you have to buy your own wine. Dinner will be at 7:00. The event will be held at the California Building at Idelwild Park in Reno. There will be a limited number of tickets at the door for $50. RSVP at 323-8683. More info at the Washoe County Democratic website page. We would rather be with Rudy, but our budget will be taking us to the crab feed.
